The Highlands Vision

Vision with action can change the world.


We, the Highlands Congregation, will be a church dedicated to living the
gospel of Jesus Christ within our community. The community will see the
Highlands as a vital resource for peace, healing, and reconciliation. We will
be a vibrant congregation where the dignity and worth of each person is
recognized and where diversity is embraced.

We will be a loving, safe and caring community of faith and vision where
each person is encouraged to use their unique gifts and talents for the building
of the Kingdom. We will utilize a variety of educational opportunities, worship
experiences and fellowship activities to make disciples of Jesus Christ.

To this end we accept the personal stewardship of this vision and give freely of
our time, talents and financial resources as an expression of the love of Jesus
Christ in our lives.
