Highlands Rental Fees

Highlands Congregation Rental

Weddings

1.  Rental fees for sanctuary, Fellowship Hall, Gym, or kitchen are set by the Wedding

     Coordinator with the approval of the pastor and financial officer.  (also see web

     site www.kchighlands.org)

Athletic Events

Non Athletic Events Only

1.  Room Rentals                  $20.00 per hour

2.  Sanctuary                        $40.00 per hour

3.  Fellowship Hall                $30.00 per hour

4.  Gym                                 $30.00 per hour

5.  Gym/Fellowship Hall        $40.00 per hour

6.  Gym/Fellowship/Kitchen  $60.00 per hour

Congregatinal Events (including Memorial Services and Funerals-members only)

1.  No Fee.  Setup, opening/closing and cleanup should be arranged in advance.

      Note:  Sometimes baby showers could be considered congregational events if given for

                 active members and the congregation is sponsoring.

Family or Personal Gatherings (non-commercial events such as birthdays, etc.)

1.  There is no set fee for such events, but a "free will" offering is "expected".  Also, the

     group should provide own setup, opening/closing and cleanup.  "Qualified person only

     should use kitchen equipment".  Make sure these groups know that Montessori areas

     are stictly "off-limits".

Commercial or Profit-Making Events

1.  Check with legal if needed.  Church would appear to endorse such events and might

     jeopardize non-profit status.

Overnighters (groups such as Graceland or other Mission Centers)

1.  Use gym, Fellowship Hall, and various rooms throughout the facility are allowed.

     Kitchen is not to be used unless a qualified member of the congregation is present.

     There is a fee of $2.50-$3.00 per head with a minimum of $75.00.  (does not include

     opening and closing)

Local Homeowners Association Meetings

1.  There is an opening and closing fee only.  ($25.00)

Other Groups and Events (perhaps multi-days)

1.  Negotiated rates if not fitted into other categories.

2.  If there is an event that has an overriding public service component that group

     will be given a reasonable rate.

Help Needed 

The Congregation Facility Administrator Is looking for a few good men or women or both (6 to 12) to help fill in at various positions in the area of building management. The areas include the following:

 

      Opening and closing, if needed, for various functions

      Preparation efforts 

      Cleanup

      Responding to alarms

      Other various functions that pertain to building  management such as occasional painting,  helping with storage, etc

 

Though your endeavors would be voluntary in helping with building management, there would be compensation for your efforts in certain areas.
