T'ai Chi
With the arrival
of the new year an opportunity also arrives to begin
a program designed
to provide you with many benefits. Some of those
benefits include:
I
ncreased
Energy, Better Flexibility, Lower Blood Pressure, Better Balance
T'ai Chi is an
ancient exercise that allows people of all ages and physical conditions
to benefit
physically through exercises that are modified to meet your
special needs, and
spiritually in that it is a calming exercise that allows each individual
to reflect on
her/his own inner being. People with heart trouble have been encouraged by
their doctor to
take up T'ai Chi. Also many doctors are recommending it for Arthritus,
stroke and
patients with knee and joint pain and/or surgery.
Come join us on 18
September 2007 at 4:30 when we start our sessions for the new year.
Grandmaster
Charles Carter will be our instructor.
The regular
schedule will be Tuesdays and Thursdays at 4:30.
The cost is $5.00
per session on Tuesdays. This is paid to the Charles Carter.
There is no charge
for the Thursday session. Larry and Virginia Ragan, both have
attained 1st
degree black sash level, continue the training started each week by
Grandmaster
Carter.
Help Needed
the Congregation Facility
Administrator Is looking for a few good men
or
women or both (6 to 12) to help fill in at various positions in the area
of
building management. The areas include the following:
Opening and closing, if needed, for various
functions
Preparation efforts
Cleanup
Responding to alarms
Other various functions that pertain to building management such as
occasional painting, helping with storage, etc
Though your endeavors would be
voluntary in helping with building
management, there would be
compensation for your efforts in certain areas.
